Leather Care for Black Leather Tote Bag with Brown Straps, Smith's Leather Balm Conditioner

Juliette Rose Designs curates a careful selection of the finest leathers that are meant to stand the test of time and get even better with age. Some of the firmer leathers will require a bit of break-in time in the beginning, but with your use and abuse, they will soften beautifully!

Keep your leather goods in excellent shape by cleaning with a soft dry cloth, and then applying a leather conditioner every few months or so.  Gently rub the conditioner into the leather with a soft cloth or applicator (avoid aggressively rubbing gold-foil monograms to keep them in tact.)

I recommend “Smith’s Leather Balm” as a conditioner since it’s all natural and smells amazing! But whatever conditioner you end up using, just make sure to try it out in an inconspicuous spot, as some conditioners can alter the color of the leather.

Let your newly conditioned goods dry slowly in a cool, dry place - never use a hairdryer, as it can shrink the grain of the leather.
